A: We currently service the Gold Coast, Brisbane (as far west as Ipswich), Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay, and Northern Rivers (NSW). We have two crematoriums in Virginia (Brisbane) and Molendinar (Gold Coast).
Q: Where can Pet Angel Funerals collect my pet?
A: You can choose your preferred location, including your home and veterinary clinic.
Q: When will your staff collect my pet?
A: If your pet has sadly passed away, we will generally be there within 1-2 hours after you notify us. Alternatively, if you have made a pet euthanasia booking with your veterinarian, our staff will be there to collect at your requested time.
Q: Does Pet Angel Funerals offer at-home pet euthanasia?
A: Our staff do not perform pet euthanasia, but we offer our Vet Angels service, where we connect you with qualified veterinarians who provide peaceful at-home euthanasia. This option allows your pet to remain surrounded by loved ones in a comforting, familiar location in their final moments. As part of the Vet Angels service, our Pet Angel Funerals team will then collect your beloved pet for cremation and provide the dignified, graceful farewell they deserve.
Q: When and how will Pet Angel Funerals be in contact with me about my pet?
A: Expect one of our locally based team to contact you the day after collection to discuss our services and available package options.
Q: What information does Pet Angel Funerals need to book in a collection?
A: The following information is needed when booking a collection:
- Owner’s Name
- Owner’s Contact Number
- Pet Information: Name, Breed, Gender, Weight
- Location of the collection
- Time of collection (if pet euthanasia is requested)
Q: How can I guarantee that I receive only my pet’s ashes?
A: We have separate chambers for individual cremations, with only one pet being cremated at a time. Each pet also has their own identification tag from the moment they are brought into our care, which we match to every piece of paperwork at every step of the process.
Q: Can I witness the pet cremation?
Yes, you can witness the beginning of the cremation process in our viewing room. An additional charge applies, and this service is only available for the first cremation of the day (early morning).
Q: What is the typical turnaround time to receive my pet’s ashes back?
A: It generally takes 5-7 business days from finalising arrangements. Personalised memorial items and keepsakes, such as Personalised urns and Memory Bears, can take a little longer.
Q: Where can you deliver my pet’s ashes?
A: We can deliver them to your preferred location, including your home and veterinary clinic. You are also welcome to collect your pet’s ashes from either of our facilities.
Q: Does Pet Angel Funerals offer a home burial service?
A: No, but we have a beautiful Memory Room where you can hold an intimate service. An additional charge applies.
Q: Do you do cremation for other pets besides dogs and cats?
A: Yes. We also cremate small pets such as guinea pigs, lizards, snakes and rats. We cannot, however, cremate horses.
