Vet Angels – Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Vet Angels (“Vet Angels”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By booking or engaging Vet Angels services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
1. Services
Vet Angels assists clients by arranging in-home euthanasia through trusted, independent veterinary professionals. Vet Angels does not provide other veterinary-related services. Vet Angels does not itself provide veterinary diagnosis or treatment.
Vet Angels also provides aftercare services in partnership with Pet Angel, including the respectful transfer and cremation of pets following an appointment, where selected.
Services are subject to availability and may be adjusted where necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.
2. Operating Hours
Standard Appointments:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
After-Hours Appointments (Additional $250 Fee):
- Weekdays: 5:00pm – 6:00pm
- All day on weekends and public holidays
After-hours fees apply per appointment and will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.
3. Bookings
- All appointments must be booked in advance and are subject to confirmation.
- Emergency appointments are subject to availability. In some cases, Vet Angels may direct you to contact the veterinarian directly.
- Vet Angels reserves the right to decline or reschedule appointments if required due to staffing, safety, or operational considerations.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Full Refund:
Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.
Partial Refund / Cancellation Fee:
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur a $250 cancellation fee.
- Where payment has already been made, the applicable refund (if any) will be processed back to the original payment method.
- Rescheduling within 24 hours may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking, at Vet Angels’ discretion.
5. Fees & Payment
- All fees will be advised prior to service.
- Payment terms must be adhered to as agreed at the time of booking.
- For in-home euthanasia appointments, a $595 in-home euthanasia fee and a $200 cremation deposit must be paid in full prior to the appointment to secure the booking.
- The $200 cremation deposit is fully refundable if the appointment is cancelled, subject to the cancellation terms outlined in Section 4.
- Appointments will not proceed unless these payments have been received.
- After-hours fees are non-refundable once the appointment time has commenced.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information at the time of booking.
- Ensure a safe and appropriate environment for services to be carried out.
- Comply with all reasonable instructions provided by Vet Angels staff.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- Vet Angels is not liable for delays or service interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
- Liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.
8. Privacy & Confidentiality
All client and clinic information is handled confidentially and in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. Information will not be shared without consent unless required by law.
9. Amendments
Vet Angels reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will apply to all future bookings.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia.
