We hope you and your four legged friends have an enjoyable summer but please be mindful of these tips:
Heat
Pets have a limited ability to deal with the heat, make certain they always have access to plenty of cold water to avoid dehydration and limit their time running around outside during the hottest parts of the day. Please do not leave your dog in an unattended car over the summer months.
Ticks
Ticks are extremely prevalent during summer months, be sure to keep your grass cut short and gardens tidy, keeping longer coats clipped also helps. Keep an eye on your furry friends and if you notice any behavior out of the ordinary, contact your veterinarian.
Water Safety
If you have a water loving fur baby be sure to keep a close eye when they are in or near the water to avoid them getting into trouble.
